Late Breaking News on the 2008 Presidential Campaigns of Barack Hope and John McCain:

• The democratic race is OVER, FINALLY!  Hillary has endorsed her rival and suspended her campaign.

• The press has now moved to focus on Barack's running mate.  Hope needs help to pick up demographic weaknesses he showed during the primary season.  Jim Webb of Virginia is an early frontrunner given his military background and strong support in a swing state that is a gateway to the South.  Hillary and Hope would create the so-called "Dream Ticket", but many have rightfully pointed out that this combination has a great deal of downside, and not that much upside, politically.  Other Virginians are possible as well... Mark Warner and Governor Tim Kaine would both be a strong addition to the ticket of such a national political newcomer as Barack Hope.  It will be interesting come this fall!
